In The Parish Assisted at some St Brigid’s Eucharists; Led most Evening Prayer services; Scheduled clergy as needed; Preached once; Officiated at one funeral; Took Communion to people in homes or hospital; Counseled briefly with numerous people in Rio Vista; Met with Grace Church’s Rector, the Rev. Debra Warwick-Sabino; Handled communications and advertising; Wrote three columns On the Riverbank with St. Brigid’s for Sharing Grace newsletter; Prepared reports for meetings; Led Lent classes; Led summer classes on Sacred Water. In The Diocese Attended clergy conference 2/5-7/07; Participated in diocesan deacons’ meeting with Bishop Beisner in Fairfield; Served on Northern California Deacons’ Council, a two-year term up in October 2007; Continued to serve on the School for Deacons Board of Trustees as bishop’s appointee; Attended Diocesan Convention in Redding 11/9-11/07; Preached and assisted twice at St. Andrew’s Antelope. In The Wide World Worked my full time job with Solano County Library--awesome ministry opportunities www. solanolibrary.com; Co-led National Alliance for Mental Illness Family classes www.nami.org; Served as Chaplain and Advisory Council member for Kairos Outside Northern California; Served on Kairos clergy team at FCI Dublin women’s prison, and assisted with Kairos support team at Folsom prison www.kairosprisonministry.org; Actively participated in the Rio Vista pastors’ fellowship and planning the ecumenical evening of song 1/20/07 www. riovistaforchrist.org. Let us pray for our Bishop Barry Beisner and his family, for the Rev. Donna McNiel, for the faithful remnant of the Episcopal Diocese of San Joaquin, and for the whole church.
