Annual Meeting held on January 19, 2008

at Lighthouse Ministries, 101 Montezuma,

Rio Vista

Meeting was called to order at 7 pm.

Present: Parishioners Chandra Drury, Owen Drury, Rollin Woodworth, Guy Harris,
Donna Harris, Araminta Blackwelder, Debbie McNamara, Carol Dugger, Jessie Kelly,
Patricia Akers, Kate Mueller, Lee Muller

    : Deacons Susan Reeve, Derek Jones

Opening Prayer

Minutes: The minutes of the 2007 Annual Meeting, held on February 24, 2007 were
read and approved as submitted.

Reports:

Members received

Chandra Drury, Treasurer, reviewed the income and expenses for the year. She
noted that income was down about 25% from last year, possibly due to the poor
economy.

The report was accepted as presented.

Thank You letters from Rio Vista Care, Center of Movement and The School for
Deacons for donations received were read.

Election of Officers

Warden: Owen Drury

Treasurer: Chandra Drury

Clerk: Roz Malone

Worship Committee Chair: Carol Dugger

Hospitality Chair: Debbie McNamara

Members at Large; Patricia Akers and Debbie McNamara.

No nominations were made from the floor. Nominations were closed and the election
of the slate of officers was approved by acclamation.

Other Business

The Mission Committee met on January 12. It was stated that the main discussion
focused on expanding the services to weekly It was noted that we had been blessed
by the willingness of the Rev. Donna McNiel to preside at the weekly service free of
charge and who would be reimbursed only for mileage at 50 cents per mile
(approximately 60 miles). Lighthouse Ministries would be willing to provide space on
Saturdays at $50 per service. The fee for the musician had not yet been negotiated.

Discussion covered a number of topics including:

Outreach to the Coast Guard families.

Outreach to Trilogy residents.

Advertising that would be needed.

The opportunities for growth.

The concern regarding the extra costs, and the possibilities of increased revenue
resulting from additional services.

The availability of the present cash funds to support an increase in services.

The additional work required of the Worship Committee.

Following extensive discussion it was moved, seconded and unanimously approved
to start weekly services, effective March 1, 2008.

Items under Discussion

The possibility of establishing a Sunday School program.

Inviting a person from St. Anne’s, Stockton to look at the Coast Guard ministry.

Tokens of appreciation given to Deacons Reeve and Jones.

The reading of Canon 7 regarding the work of Deacons.

The continuation of the Tuesday evening prayer service.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8. 30 pm.
